What People Are Saying
“It has been night and day working out here versus previous gyms. The support and the focus on living healthier and stronger while not overextending yourself is incredibly refreshing. Definitely check them out if you want to feel better about yourself and who you can become!”

“After throwing my back out recently, I decided to join a gym in order to strengthen my core and protect myself from injury. I am so grateful that I decided on Level Fitness.
The coaches really listened to my goals and concerns (regarding my back). They are not kidding when they say that the workouts can be scaled to any fitness level - I work a desk job, and have absolutely no experience with weightlifting or athletics. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, and very effective communicators, providing approachable explanations for new exercises and movements (even for a novice like myself).
They are incredibly encouraging and motivating, without compromising safety. There are numerous classes offered throughout the day (which is great for my sometimes-unpredictable schedule), and class sizes are small enough that the coaches are able to give personal attention to all participants.
I continue to find the workouts to be very challenging, but fun. I always feel that I've accomplished something afterwards. I am really enjoying getting to know the coaches and other members. I'll say it again - I highly recommend Level!

Level Fitness is a great gym with an awesome community. All coaches are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They are focused on teaching good form and right technique before going with heavy weights to prevent from injuries which is important especially for those who just started their fitness journey. Level has helped me greatly in my journey to a healthy and active lifestyle. I am in better shape and stronger than ever before, thanks to them! I can only recommend this studio and encourage everyone to try it out.

I taught group fitness classes like spin, HIIT, yoga, and Pilates throughout college and knew that teaching was something I wanted to continue after I graduated. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be able to be a Fitness Coach. I started working out off and on in college as a fitness outlet for myself and fell in love. The progress you make in your fitness is able to be seen in real time and I am constantly amazed at what the body can do!
I love coaching because I love to see the look on athletes faces when they do something they never thought possible for themselves. It’s so empowering to help people work towards their goals and see them grow more confident in their abilities every single day.
Training at Level Fitness has personally made me more confident in all aspects of my life. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been in my fitness journey and I still look forward to learning something new everyday. There is nothing quite like it, and there is no community better than the people here at Level fitness.

I grew up an athlete and have always seeked the competition feeling while bettering myself. As a Recreation Therapist with a minor in adaptive physical activity, I fell in love with functional fitness because it can be adapted/modified for anyone. Level Fitness offers just that, by the way coaches break down each movement and provide that personal experience for each member. I became a coach because I genuinely enjoy helping and watching people accomplish their goals. The best feeling as a coach is watching someone PR a lift/workout or completing a movement for the first time.

When I took my first functional fitness class, like most, I fell in love. I took on coaching as a platform to help others move their best, refine technique, and reach their goals inside and out of the gym. Ultimately, I wanted to give other people what fitness gave me, freedom. Not only do I love seeing people push their physical limitations and hit PRs (which is so dope), but I love the responsibility that comes with coaching to each member. When someone walks into class, this may be the only hour of their day where they feel like they belong, or have someone that believes in them. Coaching allows me to give people tools to become the best version of themselves, and you can’t put a price tag on that. It has given me an avenue to be the best version of myself, physically and mentally. l was able to work through a lot of my demons and become stronger as a person, and not just physically. Functional fitness did save my life, which sounds a little cliche, but it opened up doors to friendships, a thriving career, and optimal health.

I’ve always been into fitness, and did it all. I’ve played plenty of sports, done bodybuilding-style lifting at the local globo-gym, and even tried dipping my toes into the world of powerlifting.
In 2011 my fitness journey turned a different direction when I discovered Functional fitness and, shortly thereafter, started coaching a few classes here and there. Fast forward 10 years, I’m a full-time Software Engineer, gym owner, Coach, Husband, and Dad. I understand the difficulty of balancing life with the need to exercise regularly and eat well, and am determined to show others what I know to be true; that fitness can be fun, and that eating well is possible, that you can have the body that you want, and that you don’t have to make that journey by yourself.

I am a former military kid who moved around often and would have loved to be great at athletics...but I wasn't particularly fast, coordinated, or strong. I spent most of my childhood and teen years insecure and mildly overweight.
When I began doing workouts with my now husband and co-owner Stephen in 2011, he suggested that I jump onto a 12" box...I channeled that un-athletic kid inside of me and politely declined ;) How he ever got me to walk into a gym after that is still a mystery.
Fast forward to today, I hold an L2 coaching certificate and have been involved with this sport for 10+ years. It has given me so much more than just fitness. As I approach my 40's, I am the strongest and most confident I have ever been in my life. I never imagined doing a pull-up or climbing a rope...I can do those things now.
The confidence that I have now has translated into so many areas of my life, including my career in law enforcement and childbirth. My hope as a coach is to inspire other girls and women to feel strong and confident, and be proud of the woman looking back at them in the mirror.
